Robert Badinter on his book "The Execution"

Questioned by Bernard PIVOT, Robert BADINTER explains that he wrote the book "The Execution" after the killing of Roger Bontems, which he had defended because he was only Claude Buffet’s accomplice. According to him, this writing takes the form of an exorcism and also allows him to make more concrete the cause he defends: the abolition of the death penalty.
