Uncle David

David Grammont, better known as Tonton David, was the reggae ambassador in France, and he contributed in particular to the development of dancehall in the 80s and 90s. Among his greatest hits were the hits "Sure and Certain," which sold over 350,000 copies, and "Chacun sa route," the soundtrack for the film Un indien dans la ville.
