Daniel BILALIAN receives the former host of the show "Midi première", Danièle GILBERT for her book "Je revenir", in which she evokes her television memories. When the left came to power in 1981, she turned away from television and described her book as a book of conversations with the public and said she had "no feelings of revenge, resentment or bitterness". Invited on the set of Caroline TRESCA, Danièle GILBERT evokes her memories of the presenter of the program "Midi première". She cites some names of personalities of the French scene that marked her career as Fernand REYNAUD, Georges BRASSENS or Charles TRENET... She finds that the French song is doing well with new artists such as Eric MORENA (whose self-deprecation she enjoys), Jean Jacques GOLDMAN or Jeanne MAS.

Danièle GILBERT tells how, thanks to the viewers, she won the speakerines competition organized by Auvergne TV in 1964. She goes on to talk about her television debut as a journalist. "Everything started with Télé Auvergne, everything started with Auvergne viewers," she says.
