The financial difficulties of the Republicans, the PS and the ELLV
Traditional political parties are facing a financial crisis due to their poor results in the last legislative elections. The state uses these results to determine the allocation paid to parties for five years. The Republicans lost half of their elected representatives, causing them to lose 25 million euros over five years. The socialist party will receive 90 million less than the previous five years. The sale or mortgage of the Solférino street headquarters is no longer in doubt and employees fear a social plan. EELV has already sold its headquarters and dismissed half its employees. Commentary on images of illustration and infographic alternating with interviews with Daniel FASQUELLE, treasurer LR, and Jean-François DEBAT, treasurer PS.
