Alps: the inexorable melting of glaciers

Alps: the inexorable melting of glaciers

Report on the warming of the climate and its direct consequences on the melting of the ice. Example with the White Glacier. Located in the Massif des Ecrins in the Hautes-Alpes, it loses its ice mass from year to year. The glaciologists who follow the evolution of the glacier are showing alarming results. In 80 years the glacier may have disappeared. A commentary on factual images alternates with infographic images and interviews with Emmanuel THIBERT, glaciologist and Nicolas CHAUD, guardian of the refuge of the white glacier.
