Terrorist threat: a new reinforced Vigipirate plan
Focus on the new Vigipirate plan, adopted at a Defence Council meeting the day before. It consists of 76 pages that accurately describe the new measures put in place, including the introduction of alert levels. The current "Risk Attack" mobilizes 120,000 police, gendarmes and military. The maximum threshold is "Emergency Attack", following a terrorist attack and which provides for the closures of institutions and public places.
