An angry Urbi and Orbi blessing

Pope Francis pronounced his traditional blessing "Urbi et Orbi" on December 25, 2014, from the Vatican. A speech full of anger against the fighters of the Islamic State and the fate reserved for the Christians of Iraq that also focuses on the crises that affect the African continent. Commentary on factual images interspersed with excerpts from the Pope’s speech: "I ask Jesus, saviour of the world, to take into account our brothers and sisters in Iraq and Syria who have suffered for too long from the ongoing conflicts" [...] "I am thinking in particular of Libya, southern Sudan, the Central African Republic and several regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo. I ask their political leaders to put all their energy into overcoming their differences in order to build a stable and fraternal coexistence".
