Toulouse, a district without heating

In the Mirail district of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), for more than 24 hours, 7,300 units have been without heating. Schools and the University of Mirail had to close for lack of heating and elderly people had to be evacuated from the retirement home. It’s a hot water line that gave way because of the cold. A commentary on factual images alternates with interviews with Monique AMADIEU, a resident of a building, Sabrine BENSAID (a 10-year-old student), Laurent JEGOU, an engineering student at the University of Toulouse Le Mirail, micro-sidewalk of a man who came to pick up his mother evacuated from a retirement home, and Jean-Baptiste ANGEBAULT, technical director of a district heating company.
