[Booklet A: Bercy asks banks to track down fraudsters]
Report. Eight months after the opening of the Livret A market to all banks, an investigation into the compliance of banking institutions with the law concerning the prohibition for an individual to hold several livrets. Indeed, the tax services will now ask banks to track down offenders who, without regularization within six months, will face a fine. The commentary on factual images shot on a hidden camera, illustration and infographics alternates with a microsidewalk and an interview with Christine LAGARDE, Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment. [Source: France 2 prompter] A Booklet A is good... Two Booklet A, it is forbidden!.. This rule, obviously, is not always followed especially since January 1 when Postal Bank and Savings Banks lost their monopoly on this product... Also, tax services decided to accelerate the hunt for duplicates... In question: the customers of course but also perhaps some banks not very attentive when opening the accounts... That’s what we were able to verify this afternoon, in a hidden camera... Investigation signed by Julien PELLETIER and Marie CAZAUX
