Catastrophic floods in Rive de Gier in the Loire in the night of November 1 to 2. In the dark, the electricity was cut, the inhabitants lived a night of terror with a surge of water and very important. In the morning it is images of cars piled up, turned over that clutter the streets, shops were all flooded and also suffered theft. Jean-Pierre CHARVIN, mayor of Rive-de-Gier, explains that the alert was given too late by the prefecture at 2:30 am while the flood began at 11:15 pm.
