Parliamentary Attachés

Report. Following the defeat of the left in the general elections in June 2002, 250 deputies had to give up their seats. The parliamentary attachés assigned to them were then unemployed without any compensation. In the 1970s, the collaborators were volunteer activists. The latter protested since there is currently no status for this profession. The subject provides an update on this profession. The editing alternates archival and illustration images with interviews with Jean François Cassant, parliamentary assistant since 1997 and Sylvie Debord, parliamentary assistant since 1982.
