Son of a Polish Jewish deportee, separated from his parents during this round-up, Maurice RAJSFUS wrote books dedicated to this period since 1980 to remember and denounce the zeal of the French police under Vichy. He tells how the arrest went and how he could escape. His testimony alternates with a commentary on archival photographs of the period.
