The French Communist Party, which had inherited Marcel Duchamp’s painting "L.H.O.O.Q." (The Mustached Mona Lisa), decided to lend it to the Pompidou Centre. The commentary on images of the painting alternates with a micro-sidewalk of tourists interviewed in front of Pompidou, archives of Georges marchais and Louis Aragon, interviews of Gérard FOURNIER, head of general services at the PCF, and Alfred PACQUEMENT, Director of the National Museum of Modern Art, and images of Marie-George BUFFET, National Secretary of the PCF, making a statement before handing over the work.
