History: Pentecost Monday worked

Retrospective of the various government decisions concerning the solidarity day for elderly and dependent persons and the choice of the working holiday. Prime Minister Jean Pierre RAFFARIN let each rector of academy choose the holiday that will be deleted. The Minister of National Education, François FILLON, told him that Pentecost Monday would be worked in all schools in France from 2005. Finally, the 2004 law stipulates that the choice of Pentecost Monday is a recommendation and not an oblogation. Alternating commentary on infographics, illustrations and images from the Prime Minister’s speech archives.
