En France, les actes antisémites se multiplient liés aux évènements du Proche-Orient, plongeant la communauté juive dans la crainte et l'incompréhension. Exemple à Paris avec le témoignage de familles lors d'un déjeuner entre amis. Français, de confession juive, ils affirment leur attachement à Israël, mais se revendiquent avant tout comme citoyens français, et déclarent vouloir participer à la future manifestation de soutien à l'Etat hébreu, tout en affirmant également leur soutien aux Palestiniens souhaitant vivre en paix avec les Juifs.
