Tancarville Bridge

The Tancarville bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the Seine between Tancarville (Seine-Maritime) and the Marais-Vernier (Eure). Started in 1955, it will be put into service in 1959. In 1959, the bridge had the longest central span in Europe, 608 meters. It was one of the first shipyards of this magnitude to take place without a fatal accident.
