Vendée Globe: arrival of Catherine Chabaud at Les Sables d'Olonne
Press conference by Catherine CHABAUD, 6th in the Vendée Globe rankings and the first woman to sail around the world solo without stopping. Very moved when she arrived in Les Sables d'Olonnes, she declared: "This tour has made my soul very bare, we really go to the end...we crack, I cracked more than once but I also cried of happiness... What is important on a boat is to be in harmony with the boat and with the elements and I have not always been in harmony with the boat and in the south after my capsizing...I struggled to find this harmony..."
