Rennes celebrates American independence in its own way
The Franco-American Institute and the Consulate of Rennes organized a picnic at the Gayeulles Park to celebrate, one day in advance, on July 4, the American Independence Day. Between country dance and baseball match, evoking large spaces and amusement parks, we see that the American dream is still relevant for Rennes. Eric BEATY, Economic Attaché at the Consulate of the United States in Brittany, briefly explains what this day means for Americans and how it traditionally unfolds.
