History and country party for American culture enthusiasts
A western and country party was organized at La Louptière-Thénard, in the Aube, by real enthusiasts of American history and culture, or even his "clichés" - civil war, western, country music... Many participants were dressed up to participate in historical re-enactments and fight Americanophobia. One participant explained that making country is for her a first step towards the country she dreams of going to. A member of the association "the 5th DI-US" evokes the "duty of memory towards the fallen men to liberate Europe during the Second World War". The organizer, Christian TRICHET, talks about the gap between this festival and real life in the United States, while a Franco-American participant says that the French have "perhaps in the heart a memory of the America they love"...
