50 years of the R5: history and future electric model
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the R5, a look at the success of this model of car. From its launch the R5 seduces any social class, with its rounded shapes and colors. One in six French people owned one. After ten years at the top of sales, the R5 retired in the early 1980s. Today the R5 still attracts passionate collectors with this model recalling many memories as at Le Mans. A new model of R5 will be marketed, this time, all electric in the coming years.
