The parents' house in Bordeaux, a support for families
The house of parents Ronald McDonald, built in 2001, offers for 8 euros per night rooms reserved for parents of hospitalized children living far from Bordeaux, Pascal and Patricia, Julian’s parents take turns at the bedside of their hospitalized child. As only one parent is allowed to sleep in the hospital room at night, the other can stay in the parents' house nearby. Annick FOUCAULT, the director, hopes to have designed a warm place allowing relatives of sick children to relax. The solidarity between the families, the serenity and conviviality of this refuge are an invaluable help for families going through difficult moments.
