Report on the consequences of drought in the Toulouse region. This is the most severe situtation in 40 years. The waters of the Garonne are very low as evidenced by the images taken in Toulouse. At the Cammazes dam in the Montagne Noire massif, which feeds the Canal du Midi, the decline in water levels is significant. Specialists use bottom water that requires specific treatment. Unable to provide the draught required for users, the Canal du Midi closes one week early for maintenance.
