Carlos SAURA shoots his 18th film "Antonieta". This is the first film he shoots outside Spain, and of which he does not sign the script himself, the latter was written by Jean Claude Carrière. The Spanish filmmaker talks about the two female characters, played by Hanna Schygulla and Isabelle Adjani. The interview alternates with images of the director on set, directing technicians and actors. He takes a brush to make up the actress Hanna Schygulla and gets gently caught by the makeup artist.
