Genech’s dahlia festival under the aegis of Elizabeth II

The 7th Festival of Genech’s Dahlia Festival was hosted by England in honour of the Jubilee of the Queen of England Elizabeth II. Many young people dressed in kilts came from the North of France, from the cities of Lille and Villeneuve d'Asq by train to Genech. A parade takes place in the city with a band that played the English anthem and floats. Jean DESFONTAINES, Director of Horticulture Industry at Genech.
