Thierry Frémaux' typical day at the Cannes Film Festival
For the past 5 years, Thierry FREMAUX, director of the Institut Lumière, has become the artistic director of the Cannes Film Festival: he is the one who chooses the films in contention for the Palme d'Or. At festival time, he is a true marathon runner: he welcomes the film teams at the top of the steps, presents the screenings, manages the planning, responds to the media.... He orchestrates the great Cannes ballet.
