After more than a hundred years of existence, the end of the Normal School is near. The IUFM will soon take over the training of teachers and the level of licence will be required. Report in Douai during the last competition to enter the EN. Interviewed by Berrnard BESSIERE, director of the Ecole Normale de Douai says: "It is a beautiful idea the Ecole Normale, it is an idea that dates from the French Revolution (...), it is clear that it is a change...".
