Report on Peter Brook’s Theatre Lesson. English director Peter Brook, aged 95, opened the season at TNP Villeurbanne. For the occasion, he conducted a workshop in public: some members of his troupe and a dozen amateur students worked on an excerpt from William Shakespeare’s play "la tempête". For Peter Brook, in the theatre, the director is not the boss, but a guide to play fair. Interview with Peter BROOK on his conception of the role of director, testimony of a student and interview with Jean Bellorini new director of the TNP: from Brook to Mouchkine, he wants to celebrate this season a simple, joyful and for all.
