The Minister of Defence, Michel DEBRE, was visiting the French Navy in Toulon. He made a short underwater cruise aboard the submarine Venus. He is greeted upon his return by sailors at your guard and then answers the questions of the journalists. Interviewed, he explains the purpose of this excurtion: "The goal is essential, to show, both to the submariners and in a general way thanks to you to the opinion, the importance that presents in our national defence, today and even more tomorrow, submarines...".
