Meeting with François Fillon, 27, youngest member of the National Assembly
François FILLON (RPR), 27, youngest in the National Assembly, talks about his young career. Interviewed outside, he said he was surprised to have been elected, and spoke at length about his mentor and predecessor Joël Le Theule. His interview alternates with a reminder of his political career, as parliamentary assistant to Joël Le Theule between 1976 and 1978, and then as chargé de mission in the office of the Minister of Transport. For a few months he had been a member of the Sarthe General Council and deputy mayor of the municipality of Sablé.
