Grée des Landes is the name of the first eco-spa hotel built on the heights of La Gacilly in Morbihan. The installation was designed by Jacques Rocher, son of the designer of the cosmetics brand Yves ROCHER and of whom he is the director of sustainable development. It is a bioclimatic construction. The garden is a space without chemical treatment to promote biodiversity. The LPO, Bird Protection League, participates in the garden design. The hotel has 29 rooms with a green roof. An indoor garden serves as an auxiliary heating to the hotel’s public spaces. Two wood boilers were installed, and solar panels were installed on the roof. A booklet will be available in the rooms to show customers the right actions to minimize the impact on the environment.
