Roc des Fiz: testimonies and memories 40 years later
The Roc des Fiz disaster occurred 40 years ago and resulted in 72 deaths, including 56 children. On the night of April 15-16, 1970, a mudslide took a sanatorium building for sick children with tuberculosis. For the first time, survivors, rescuers, families and residents will gather on the plateau of Assy to share memories that have forever marked the life of these places. Testimonies of Jocelyne Dalloz, a former health care worker, and Alain Brillet, a former rescue firefighter.
