The general states of children’s rights were held in Lille. The new international convention on children’s rights now allows them to have a lawyer. Hélène DHORLAC, lawyer at the bar of Lille, explains the difference between the Declaration of Human Rights and the International Convention on the Rights of Children. This convention is law in the countries that have ratified it. Patrick TILLIE explains the impact of this agreement on family law.
