The health crisis has forced the retail sector to reinvent itself. Faced with the explosion of online commerce, click and collect, large retailers had to rethink their model by creating smaller stores in downtown, like the DIY giant, Castorama. Example in Lille where a small Castorama convenience store is the delight of the inhabitants of the district. Catherine Poncin, director of store concepts Castorama, and Amélie Brasseur, store manager "Casto Solférino", explain the principle of these stores where only a selection of products most requested by customers is offered.
