Since the Veil law 39 years ago, abortion has been a right in France. But it’s getting harder and harder to use. Some doctors refuse to practice it as the conscience clause allows them. In addition, abortion does not bring anything to the hospital, but in the current logic, even in public hospitals, profitability prevails. French women are therefore turning to other countries.
