In France, there are 9 parents' houses funded by the Ronald Mc Donald Foundation, the oldest being created in 1991 next to the Gustave Roussy Hospital, the first cancer treatment centre in Europe. Interview with Laurence BRUGIERES, Head of Pediatric and Adolescent Cancer at the Gustave Roussy Hospital in Villejuif. It evokes the precious help of the Parents' House for the daily management of families and also its 'importance on the psychology of sick children.
