Reactions in favour of the overthrow of President Salvador Allende in Chile
A group of men, in the upscale neighborhoods of Santiago, Chile, debate the coup of September 11, 1973 and the fall of President Salvador Allende. They welcome the change of government but say they are attached to democracy and regret that it was necessary to come to such methods "as if we were in a small banana republic of Central America".
