In Mali, the French and Malian armies have just liberated the city of Timbuktu, occupied for ten months by Islamist jihadists. They were welcomed by a cheering crowd, particularly grateful for France’s commitment to this intervention. Micro-sidewalk of Timbuktu residents, who express their joy and thanks to France, and interviews with French soldiers.
