Jean-Marie Straub about her cinema and the destiny of images
Le cinéaste Jean-Marie Straub répond aux questions de Laure Adler. Il livre sa vision de son cinéma et explique, à propos de la difficulté de faire des films, avec sa compagne Danièle Huillet : "... on n'a pas le choix, nous ne savons faire que cela, on n'a rien appris d'autre... de plus, ça nous évite de désespérer...". Il évoque également le destin des images : "... c'est naturellement la mort des images, à partir du moment où les images qu'on fabrique, il n'y a plus personne derrière, c'est-à-dire il n'y a plus d'émotion ni d'imagination...".
