Interview du réalisateur Jean-Marie Straub, à l'occasion du Festival International Cinématographique de Paris, au cours duquel il est venu présenter son dernier film, "Fortini/Cani", réalisé avec sa femme Danièle Huillet. Il parle du financement de leurs films et des différents moyens auxquels ils ont recours pour les produire. Il ajoute que : "... c'est toujours sans qu'on soit payés pour notre travail, on ne vit pas de ça... on vit petitement...". Il évoque également le privilège de pouvoir faire ce qu'il veut : "... dans la société dans laquelle on vit, c'est le prix à payer...".
