Anne Chopinet first woman at Polytechnique

On 29 April 1970, women were allowed to take the entrance examination at the Ecole Polytechnique. Anne Chopinet, 19, is the first woman to be awarded major in the prestigious school’s entrance examination. She first lists her successful contests, then timidly answers the journalist’s sometimes surprising and sexist questions: does she consider herself a monster? Why choose a boys' school and a military school?
