The arrival of Uber, a platform and application for connecting individuals with other individuals involved in passenger transportation, angers taxi drivers who pay fees and a license to transport passengers and must comply with strict regulations. Taxi associations go to court for illegal labour and unfair competition. For Alain GRISET, President of the Union nationale des taxis, this is a "pure and harsh provocation".
