Twenty years after the end of the Algerian War, a recalled veteran and combatant, Robert BONNAUD, of the 3rd RIA, evokes the movement of protest of the recalls of 1955-1956 against the Algerian War, of civilians married with a profession, having already completed their period of military service, recalled to fight in Algeria, they felt that they were a personal victim and that they were victims of a political scam because during the electoral campaign of the general elections of 1956 , the Republican Front and the communists had campaigned for peace in Algeria. This is the only mass movement against the Algerian War.
