Algerian War: Memories of a former sub-lieutenant

Meeting in Nantes with Jean Pierre, 34 years old, commercial director, former sub-lieutenant in 1957 during the Algerian War with Senegalese tirailleurs near the Moroccan border has kept relations with an extraordinary captain with an endearing personality, a former indigenous affairs officer with a taciturn character, guys who lived a lot in the desert, with great courage. His participation in the war formed him and made him aware of many things, he the bourgeois student, as the relativity of certain concepts. He now recalls these events with nostalgia because he was 24 years old at the time with a feeling of total futility and guilt.
