En conférence de presse, le général Lehnert, commandant de la base, parle de la méthode pour obtenir des informations des détenus. Leila Bowie est infirmière à l'hôpital militaire du camp. Interviewée, elle explique son rapport aux prisonniers : "Nous ne sommes pas autorisés à leur poser des questions ou à répondre à leurs questions s'ils en posent, juste les soins médicaux, c'est tout".
