A few weeks before the first round of the 2017 presidential election, people living in Mâcon in the Saône-et-Loire region are speaking out about the "moralization and transparency of French political life" and their voting intentions. Interviewed, two nurses denounce the privileges of elected officials regarding taxation and the benefits in kind they enjoy, unlike modest people who are forced to "pay everything".
