François Mitterrand on sanctions against Iraq after the invasion of Kuwait
In 1990, François MITTERRAND held a press conference to explain France’s position vis-à-vis Iraq and the invasion of Kuwait, following a restricted Council of Ministers. France has passed the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the European Community, and is taking part in the embargo measures and economic sanctions against Iraq.
