Report in Austria on the Viennese graphic designer Robert KALINA who designed the Euro banknotes. The idea of connecting countries was part of the specifications of the European Central Bank of Euro banknotes. He explains his choice: doors, open windows, symbol of the new monetary union and the possibility to know new experiences, The bridges symbolizing the connection between countries to overcome obstacles and talking about his inspiration of European architectural styles with the advice of an architect. On the other hand, he was not to favour one style over another.
