Frank Capra explains his method for accelerating his films
The American director Frank CAPRA explains that at some point in his career he realized that his films were slow, the spectators fell asleep. During the shooting of the movie "American Madness", he asked his actors to speed up their game and to play in 40 seconds scenes that were supposed to last 1 minute. The rhythm of his films was thus faster and the spectators were captivated.
