Financial crime: tax havens

On the occasion of the release of a book entitled "A World Without Laws", written by seven European judges responsible for anti corruption, tax havens and dirty money laundering, some of them gave an exceptional interview on their perception of the problem facing justice. Interviews with Eva Joly, investigating judge, who addresses the problem of tax havens by taking the case of the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean which holds a sixth of the world’s banking assets and reflects the difficulty and inefficiency of the fight against money laundering and corruption; Bernard Bertosssa, prosecutor of Geneva, believes that the existence of tax havens is possible only by the will of the States to tolerate them, tolerance that the magistrate questions.
