François Fillon: I’ve never had a personal fortune
Live in the program "You have the floor", François FILLON, former Prime Minister and former candidate in the presidential election, answers the questions of Léa SALAME and Thomas SOTTO. He says that he is not a man of money: "It is a fable", "If I were a man of money I would not have chosen to make this political commitment for 40 years, I would have chosen to make a career in the private sector that would have allowed me to earn some." Conceding his heritage he points out that "at the time of the presidential election everyone saw that I had a heritage inferior to that of Mr.Mélenchon"... " I have never had a personal fortune... my patrimony is limited to my house in the Sarthe". Finally, he concludes that if he likes beautiful things, his commitment did not allow him to lead the life he would like to lead today.
